Carousel supports a whole bunch of older BrightSign and Windows media players:

BrightSign: We support Series 3 and Series 4 players. SD card storage only.
Apple TV: We support all 4th Generation and above Apple TV's.
Windows: We support Windows media players running Windows 7 or Windows 10.
